Dearest,
How are you today? Full of energy and with a bounce in your step or in this moment do you feel tired and weary? Sometimes we feel so tired everything just feels hard doesn’t it. That’s okay. Days spent pausing without any focuse on doing, instead just being can be a great way to rest.

Or have you been feeling tired for so long you can’t remember the last time you had a bounce in your step and you found yourself in flow. Reflect if your physical habits are supporting you or are they moving you away from the type of life you want to create. Nourish, hydrate, move, connect, rest - everyday. If you are doing all of that it may be time to check in with your GP to make sure all your systems are functioning how they should.
This last week I needed a day of rest - awaking exhausted with a desire to pull the covers high and remain horizontal for the day. Yet I know remaining horizontal never energises me so I popped on clothes and headed out to the garden to sow some seeds. The fresh air and my hands in the dirt cleared the foggy brain. I also experienced joy triggers as I looked around the garden. Daphne bush full of flowers, its scent mixing into a heady concoction with the Jasmine, also in full bloom.
Large yellow daffodils fill the garden edges. Sometimes its not doing too much physically but not enough spiritually. Experiencing awe. Being in the moment. If you are tired do you know what kind of tired?
I hope this week you get to create some space to check in with yourself. Not to judge what you have or haven’t done. Instead just to notice your breath, your posture, where you may be holding tension, your neck, your shoulders, your jaw, your hips. I hope you experience the moment, pausing to become aware.
I also hope you get to nourish your temple with food that delights your senses in its texture as you bite into it, in its flavour and in it’s presentation. Spoil yourself and create some food joy.
Take care dearest, of yourself, of others, of your thoughts, of your actions and of our wonderful world.
You are worthy - always
Ngā manaakitanga
