Venturing to new places

Dearest,
How have you been waking up lately? Refreshed and optimistic about what the day may hold or more shattered than you felt before you lay down to sleep? If shattered, how is your breath right now?

How are your shoulders? How is your posture? shall we take this moment to re-set together - a deep nourishing breath in, hold it for 1, 2, 3 and now release all the stagnant energy from deep within your belly. Repeat until you begin to feel more present. Now with your shoulders lift them to your ears, push them further back than feels natural and ease them down low, now a little lower. Has this made you sit a little higher and straighter?
Have you ventured anywhere new recently? Going new places can induce both excitement about the possibility of what may be experienced but also a gut-wrenching fear of what may be experienced. What if I do something wrong, what if it's horrible and just sucks, what if, what if, what if?
So rather that dwell on the what if's today I jumped in and did it. As I write to you today, I am sitting by myself in a hip coffee spot, with French 1940's music blasting louder that I feel it was ever intended. It's in complete contrast with being in an industrial area. Heavy trucks pass by carrying larger diggers on their back as Tesla's park so their occupants can imbibe their morning caffeine.
F-bombs dropped loudly in conversation, mixed with recent successes and plans for the long weekend. What amazes me most is the sheer amount of people coming and going, hipsters and tradies, gym goers and elderly. What a wonderfully eclectic mix of our community.
Is there somewhere you've been interested to check out but never got around to it. Could you make a plan to check it out this week? I'd love to hear about it.
Have you got anything to look forward to? I'm saving to experience a Guinness in an Irish pub with live Irish music, visit friends in Demark and soak up European vibes. I've been talking about it for a while but the best thing I did was set up a separate bank account and set up a regular payment. Even though its small amounts, the consistent progress moving closer to my goal is surprisingly satisfying.
Is there anything, no matter how small or insignificant it may feel now, that your future self will thank you for if you did it? Go on, do it - you deserve it.
I hope you take each opportunity to experience new things in this wonderful life.
Take care of yourself - of others, of your thoughts, of your actions and of our wonderful world.
You are worthy - always
