Dearest,
How has the last week been? Are you thinking its been good or bad - or has it been just a week? How are you in this moment? Take a deep breath and fill that amazing body of yours. What are you surrounded by as you read this?

The air is alive with birdsong mixed with the distant hum of traffic. Everything feels still today. It feels like a day that my to do list will be put aside and I’ll just soak up the beauty of being. No must do’s, no hectic pace - just existing with interludes for hydration, nourishment and movement.
What’s your favourite time of the day? What is it about that time that resonates with you? Is is the potential that it holds or the light that it casts? Is it the vibrancy of activity or quiet stillness? Are there memories and feelings that you get to experience only at that time? I hope you get to enjoy that special time in the most wonderful of ways this week. Maybe with someone dear to you or maybe in revitalising solitude.
I’m grateful I got to wander my garden in the morning while the world still feels still and brimming with potential. My steaming cup of tea in hand a contrasting warmth to the chilled morning air. Discovering new changes from seeds poking their first shoots through the soil to the seasons first strawberry beginning to blush. The lavender unusually quiet with the bees yet to commence their work and buzz for the day.
The softness of the morning light. It all feels so calm and gentle, an embrace from the world saying good morning my friend.
I’m also grateful that my life is so simple I can stare at the shadows cast by the sun outlining the world above on our beautiful whenua. A reminder to stay connected to our land and to our people.
Is there a place or a person you’ve been longing to connect to? I hope you can make plans to connect very soon. It will be good for your soul - and that’s something we all need.
Take care dearest - of yourself, of others, of your thoughts, of your actions and of our wonderful world.
You are worthy - always
