Play time and a skip in your step

Dearest,
How has the last week been? Did you have any playful moments where the adult allowed room for pure play? The kind of play we somehow lose without realising. Hide and go seek or painting. Building a fort or having a slumber party in the lounge - even if it's just for one.

Play is the purest form of fun. I watched with delight as a small boy jumped from puddle to puddle, grinning as he went and watching how different jumps provided different splash patterns. Just watching him provided me a rush of joy and I felt the grin spread across my face.
When is the last time you skipped - can you even remember? I skipped a while back which caused the kids to think their mother had lost it - again! But that was the first time in I can't remember how long. why do we stop skipping? It's quicker than walking and way more fun than running. Imagine if we all began to skip more. I think it would make us so much happier - it's very hard to stay grumpy or stressed as you skip.
Try it this week - event if it's just down the hallway at home like me - you'll be grinning before you know it.
I hope this week you get to provide kindness to another - even just a smile at a stranger may have a greater impact to their day than you could ever imagine. And I hope, dearest, that you are shown kindness too. Let's all journey in kindness this week shall we!
Take care dearest, of yourself, of others, of your thoughts, of your actions and of our wonderful world.
You are worthy - always
