Dearest,
What are you listening to? Is there music playing or another type of background noise? Are you able to hear natures sounds? Birdsongs, a cicadas rhythm or the sound the wind makes weaving its way through the trees, swaying the branches and rustling the leaves.

Or are you in a position of silence and stillness?
Music has such an influence on me. Its my therapy. It's what I turn to to amplify joy and times of celebration. It can provide comfort on those days where everything seems too hard, even just the next step. And my music range is vast - other than death metal genre - I've got them covered. Mood dependent will guide the tunes.
One of my favourite parts of the day is jumping in the shower, music lout out of the speaker and singing to my hearts content (dancing also likely occur!) Music is a soulful cleanse to all the mental shite I accumulate during the day. These moments allow me to wash them all away - a physical, mental and spiritual cleanse all in one!
What kind of effect does music have on you? Do you have a favourite song at the moment on repeat? What's a song or artist you listened to when you were younger - when was the last time you played it?
Music also has that magical ability to transport me back to moments in time that have long since passed. But as the notes play and the melodies wrap themselves around me, I feel myself right back at that point in time. There are certain songs and artists that each time my ears recognise the tune, special people are remembered.
Some of those memories are sad - Something in the Orange, Leave a Light On - both of these take me back to times of loss - but they also then remind me of the wonderful times that created the love, which the sadness ultimately reflects.
Some of them trigger warm fuzzies - nights dancing and singing to Wagon Wheel and Bon Jovi. Whether sad or fun each of these moments are to be cherished.
I hope cherished memories provide you whatever you need in this moment and the moments that will occur in the coming days. I hope you are creating more moments to transform into future cherished memories - being in the moment and accepting it just as it is.
Go play your favourite song or discover a new one - have fun, dance and sing. The world needs more of us to remember how wonderfully simple things can be. No need for anything except everything we already have. Everything that we already are.
Take care dearest - of yourself, of others, of your thoughts, of your actions and of our wonderful world.
You are worthy - always
Ngā manaakitanga
