Dearest,

How are you in this moment? Have you taken a deep nourishing breath lately or has that rush of getting it done meant you can't recall? Perhaps you can pause now and give yourself a gift by refreshing your lungs with some deep breaths. The calmness that settles upon you after some deep breathing is kind of magic.

What has this week brought you? What have you given? As we approach mid October the pressure to "get it done before Christmas" can pile on. Sometimes that can lead to overwhelm as we try and do it all. Let's perhaps, allow others space to contribute too.

It can be hard. They might not do it exactly the way you would have. Their time frame for progress may be prioritised differently to you. And at the end of the day, the experience/outcome may not be what you expected. Instead it will be a unique experience that will be wonderful in its own way if you can drop the "should be" and allow it to just be what it is.

Now if you do have something that's really important to you, and you need it "just right" I'd suggest you take that responsibility. If you have a long list that's really important, I would suggest, with much love and kindness, you may need to loosen your grip on life and just allow it to unfold a bit more. Perfection rarely results, if ever, in abundance in lifes joys.

And how many times have things not gone how you planned or wanted and it turned out, perhaps, with hindsight and the space of time, just what was needed.

Lifes twists and turns can be magical and heartbreaking, devasting and joyous. Without one, we couldn't fully experience the other. Let's keep practicing being in the moment and allowing it to be what it is.

Take care Dearest - of yourself, of others, of your thoughts, of your actions and of our beautiful world.

You are worthy - always

Ngā manaakitanga xx
