Dearest,
How are you feeling in this moment? Are you tired, energised or just so so? Did your answer reflect your how you are feeling about your body, mind or spirit?

I find my body can be tired, yet my mind and spirit energised, especially when I've been spending time doing activities outside. My mind can be tired but my body and spirit thriving with time spent learning new wonders about this world we live in and engaging in interesting discussions. When my spirit is tired, however, both my body and mind also suffer. A reminder to me to cherish and nourish this invisible aspect of ourselves as a priority.
What reminders or learnings have you experienced this week? For me, it's a reminder that you can't just sit back and wait for others or things to happen. I need to make them or at least make the space for them. Got a dream? Choose it and chase it. I've remembered that I'm generally the biggest obstacle in my own way. I'm awesome at finding ways or reasons for something not to happen. Normally it looks like me saying "I'll do [insert dream] when [some event / resource like money or time] occurs". Or it could be "I can't do that now because it's not the right time for [person I love and that I assume I know more about what they want than them]. (I don't!!).
But when I really think about it, that critical event that I'm waiting for 99% of the time isn't really critical to the dream event. It's more like a comforter giving me a reason to have not experienced. It's my excuse. This week I've reminded myself that it's the action that matters and not the intent. So, I'm trying to be more action orientated. Will I always master this? Probably not, but even just one step of movement in the right direction beats doing nothing.
Do you have something you'd do but you haven't yet because you are waiting for something? Is that "something" actually critical or could you perhaps take a step in that dream direction anyway? This week, or maybe even today, I have no doubt that you can.
I hope this week, Dearest, you get to be present in a moment of awe. A moment that you get to appreciate the beauty of our world.
Take care Dearest, of yourself, of others, of your thoughts, of your actions and of our beautiful world.
You are worthy - always
Ngā manaakitanga xx
