Dearest,

How did the last week feel? Just another week that has already faded from thought or maybe some special memories have been created that you will treasure for years to come.

This week I've travelled to Kurow and played golf there. The course itself was great but what really made it special and an experience I will remember were the people. We were welcomes to join their members competition. We got paired with Charlotte and Hamish (who I thought for some reason was called Craig - opps) and you would be hard pressed to meet two lovelier people.

Highlights

  • Dropping our son back to his happy place. Gonna miss the hell out of him but it's so good to see him thriving and loving the life he is creating.

  • Catching up with family in Timaru.

  • I hit the money tree on Kurow golf course. You don't get money, instead you get to make a donation supporting life flight helicopters. Great way to support a great cause

  • After the match, everyone sat around the same big table (eating some of the best hot chips I've ever had). Cindy also shouted everyone a drink. Something special you can only experience in those smaller clubs.

  • Stayed at the Best Dam Pub in Otematata (or google it!) Great food, had awesome live music and awoke to stunning scenery you can only get in Te Wai Pounamu.

Today we've made our way to Cromwell where for the next four days we have our business strategy sessions and team building before heading to Dunedin to catch up with some amazing clients. Sometimes removing yourself from the familiar can spark some wonderful ideas - well fingers crossed!

When were you last somewhere unfamiliar? Do you have anything coming up? Whatever you answer, I hope this week brings you a wonderful surprise. The kind of surprise that sends ripples of kindness beyond expectations.

Take care Dearest - of yourself, of others, of your thoughts, of your actions and of our beautiful world.

You are worthy - always

Ngā manaakitanga xx
