Dearest,

How does your body feel in this moment? Loved and cared for or a bit neglected? Do you speak kindly about the wonderful experiences it has enabled you to have or are you critical of the way it looks? I hope you can take a moment at some stage, soon, and show it some appreciation for everything that it is and drop, if only for a moment, any expectations of what it should be.

It's 2pm on Saturday and I'm enjoying the heat that the winter sun can still emit. There is a bone chilling southerly that I'm hiding from on our sun drenched deck, looking out to the park. Clouds are gathering at Kāpiti Island, like an invading war party about to steal the warmth.

Birds are rummaging below the Bay tree and our freshly trimmed grape vines have been taken back to their ragged and gnarly branches. They remind me of the witches fingers in the original Snow White as she is handing over the apple.

What joy triggers have you been able to appreciate this week? I've been delighting the pure joy from toothpaste tablets from Solid Oral. I need to get out more you are probably thinking, and perhaps that's true too. But this simple experience has left me wondering what other habits could be recrafted? Brushing my teeth, well these last few times anyway, have resulted in the kind of joy that make you dance a little. If you haven't tried toothpaste tablets before you need to!

So, tell me Dearest, what's a seemingly simple thing that has changed your daily habits?

This fresh air is doing wonders for my energy levels too. Why I continue to need to learn and relearn this I'm not sure. Is there anything that you know, yet still need to relearn?

Well Dearest, the invading group of clouds appears to be winning this particular battle so I think I'll retreat inside. Take care Dearest - of yourself, of others, of your thoughts, of your actions and of our beautiful world.

You are worthy - always
