Glimmers in the garden

Dearest,
How are you sitting? Have you just realised how slouched over you were and now hold yourself a wee bit straighter and taller than you were moments before? How about your shoulders now - are they rounded and close to your ears or have you now pushed them down and away elongating your neck?

Funny how the smallest of adjustments can make us feel so different. How we hold ourselves can influence how we feel so lets try and catch ourselves when we start to cocoon into bodies instead of expanding them and giving them space.
Another blue sky morning has greeted us with a bone chilling white frost blanketing the park. Sparrows perch on the barren fig, puffing themselves out so they resemble fluffy pom poms. No doubt trapping air to keep themselves warm.
The bulbs have started to break through the surface which has been a lovely reminder that good things are never far away, even on days that try and tell you otherwise.
Have you done anything new this week? I attend National Fieldays for the first time. I never could have imagined how large and sprawling it was. And the machinery - mind blowing! Massive drones and so many clever people creating sustainable solutions to keep feeding, clothing and sheltering us. It was a positive bubble in these crazy times.
For a supposedly intelligent species there is some pretty frkn awful and unacceptable behaviours, lacking integrity, humanity and courage. So Dearest, let's make sure we walk tall each day with kindness, compassion and curiosity.
Take care Dearest, of yourself, of others, or your thoughts, of your actions and of our beautiful world.
You are worthy - always
Ngā manaakitanga xx
