Dearest,
How are you in this moment? How are your facial muscles? Can you wiggle your jaw bone side to side and now open you mouth wide, up and down? How about your eyebrows, lift them up and down fast then slow. I wonder how often our eyebrows go up each day and we aren't even aware - I'm picking lots on those days where WTF moments are flowing!

I'm writing this letter stretched out on a deep green velvet couch, looking out t our plumcot tree which has yet to produce any fruit. Our pear tree is also in sight, currently being battered by a cold and unseasonal southerly. Not quite the summer break I had hoped for.
The pear tree is laden with fruit - they are the sweetest and juiciest pears I've ever tasted and I'm lucky enough they sit right outside our front door. Our wild flower garden is also alive with blues and oranges. It's nice to just stare and watch them a while.
What do you look out to which can take your mind out of the "to do" list and just allow you to be?
I have come across a concept called the "Big Ass Calendar" - literally just a wall planner but what I love is the things you put on first before anything else. One big goal for the year, the six mini adventures and the four new habits.
I've set mine out for the year and will use my Sunday Sessions to keep creating a life that I actively participate and thrive in. My Sunday Sessions have been a game changer for me and will be an essential tool to help me get through as I look to go from being an employee to owning my own business. There are three statements I complete each Sunday;
What will I do today - this one helps me to create immediate action and I've discovered it's amazing how much more flows when you take that first step.
What I will do this week - this is one that my future self will thank me for so it may not have an immediate benefit but is definitely moving me in the right direction - a practice in delayed gratification.
What I will do everyday this week - this is the one that helps me create habits that support the kind of life I want to live.

What do you do? What systems and processed do you have? I'd love to hear what they are if you do.
It's time to head out the door and be invigorated by this blustery southerly with a beach walk (well a beach walk was what was intended as I was writing this letter but the reality as I now type the letter onto this blog is that we took one step outside and decided to pop to the shops and grab treats and have had a Harry Potter marathon instead - sometimes intentions and reality don't align do they!)
What adventure are you going to have today? I hope they are opportunities for laughter. I hope they are opportunities for awe.
Whatever the day holds, take care Dearest - of yourself, of others, of your thoughts, of your actions and of our wonderful world.
You are worthy - always
Ngā manaakitanga xx
